Air France and Condor commences flights to the Maldives.

Air France recommenced operations to the Maldives on December 19, while Condor recommenced operations to the Maldives on December 20.

Air France initially commenced operations in the Maldives in 2017 and stopped operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. As per the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), Air France will hold flights three days per week to the Maldives.



In addition, the German airline, Condor has commenced operations between Germany and the Maldives. Condor will be holding two flights per week between Frankfurt and Male’ City.



With Condor resuming its operations to the Maldives, a total of 22 airlines are currently operating in the Maldives. The Maldives has recorded 505,092 tourists in 2020, with 122,245 tourist arrival recorded after the border reopening.
