Sutapa Amornvivat, a Thai national, arrived at Velana International Airport aboard AirAsia flight FD 175 at 11:15 am, accompanied by her family for a holiday at Niyama Maldives. This visit marks her third to the Maldives, following a memorable honeymoon.
The celebratory event, organized by Visit Maldives in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, unfolded at Velana International Airport with the presence of key government authorities such as the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), Maldives Immigration, and Maldives Customs Service, alongside various industry stakeholders. In recognition of this special occasion, Sun Siyam Resorts generously offered a complimentary holiday to the 1 millionth tourist.
