With 2 more people positive to the Covid-19, the total number of positive cases in G.dh Hoadedhdhoo increased to 44.
Initially Hoandehdhoo reported only 4 positive cases from home quarantine and from random samples taken from the people showing symptoms, 38 people were found positive. 2 people from Hoadedhdhoo are already being treated in G.A Villingili Covid management facility.
Meanwhile a total of 4 people have recovered from the infection.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has been taking random test samples from the island to ensure if there are more positive cases. So far HPA has taken 344 samples and from this 250 samples has come negative while there are 50 samples without the result.
