The Ministry of Construction has confirmed that the recent merger of the Construction Ministry and the Housing Ministry will not affect the services previously provided by the Housing Ministry.

In a statement issued today, the Ministry assured the public that all housing-related services would remain unchanged and continue without disruption. It also encouraged citizens to contact the official helpline, 4004900 and 4004901, for inquiries related to housing projects or services.

The merger, which took effect yesterday, saw the responsibilities of the Housing Ministry transferred to the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Infrastructure. As part of the reshuffle, Dr. Ali Haider, the former Housing Minister, was appointed as the Higher Education Minister. Dr. Abdulla Muththalib has been named the new Minister of Construction, Housing, and Infrastructure.

The Ministry has pledged a smooth transition and continued focus on delivering housing services efficiently. Citizens seeking further information or support have been advised to contact the ministry directly.
