January 30th, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 122 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded includes 90 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 32 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 25 people are positive from operational resorts.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 15,736 cases, including 1,582 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 407,145 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 3,535 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 32 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 14,096.
According to HPA, there are 152 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 51 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
