President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu emphasized that government announcements are made after careful planning and consultations during a meeting with the people of Muraidhoo at Muraidhoo School today.

He stated that the government does not make sudden announcements but instead plans, discusses, and determines how things can be executed before making them public. Muizzu reiterated the government's commitment to transparency and clarity in its decisions, adding that the administration is focused on announcing long-term and medium-term priorities while providing solutions to the people's challenges.

The President assured residents that resolving the outer canal issue and completing the port project remains a top priority during his term. He promised to commence road development after addressing the canal issue and committed to ensuring equal access to healthcare services and addressing the needs of the local school. He also highlighted the importance of promoting healthy lifestyles and sports activities on the island.

Before the public meeting, President Muizzu attended the groundbreaking ceremonies for the newly constructed police station and the island council office. He also officially handed over a contract to the Muraidhoo Council to install an ATM on the island, enhancing banking services for residents.
