PNC Parliamentary Group Leader Ibrahim Falaah has labeled former President Yameen as the "biggest fraudster and traitor" the country has seen in recent history.
Falaah, who represents the Inguraidhoo Constituency in the House of Representatives, made the remarks during a statement addressing the ongoing trials against President Yameen in connection with money laundering and embezzlement charges linked to the MMPRC fraud case.
Falaah asserted that President Yameen's actions had betrayed the nation, contrasting him with the current administration. He emphasized that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu is the most faithful president the country has ever had, while accusing Yameen of being the biggest fraudster and traitor in recent history.
In his statement, Falaah also called on President Yameen to cease any efforts to undermine the actions being taken, affirming that justice would prevail.
Falaah’s comments come as President Yameen faces serious legal challenges, with ongoing trials surrounding his involvement in the multi-million-dollar MMPRC corruption scandal.
