The National Awards Committee has announced that 141 individuals have applied for this year’s National Award for Public Service. Applications closed on March 18, 2025.
Following the application deadline, the committee reviewed the employment records of nominees to determine eligibility. Interview sessions for qualifying candidates began today as part of the evaluation process.
The National Award for Public Service is a prestigious honour granted by the President to individuals who have served the nation for over 35 years with dedication and excellence in their respective fields. Recipients receive a shield, an honorary badge, and a commemorative certificate.
The awards will be conferred during the official Independence Day celebrations later this year.
