The "Maldives Expo 2025" concluded last night after a successful nine-day run, marking the first major exhibition held under the direct involvement of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed described the event as a reflection of the President’s vision for national development and innovation.
The minister highlighted that the expo aligns with the objectives outlined in this year’s Presidential Address, particularly the emphasis on boosting national productivity and strengthening the country’s creative industries. He noted the importance of increasing the creative economy's contribution to the nation's overall output.
To support this vision, the event included several themed areas such as the Creative Economy District, Digital District, Marketplace District, and an Entertainment District, which hosted family-friendly activities and special attractions for children.
