Bollywood director Farah Khan has arrived in the Maldives to experience island life and traditional Eid sports.
According to the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), Farah’s visit is part of a special project aimed at promoting Maldivian tourism through unique cultural experiences.
The MMPRC said it is prepared to extend the Maldives’ renowned hospitality to Farah during her stay. As part of the collaboration, she will be filming Eid celebrations and sports in selected islands, capturing the essence of rural Maldivian life in a light-hearted, comedic narrative. However, the specific islands involved in the project have not yet been revealed.
This initiative follows a similar tourism promotion earlier this year when popular influencer Khalid Al Ameri visited the Maldives to explore local island life.
