The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Maldives to the State of Kuwait, Ahmed Sareer, officially presented his Letters of Credence to Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Yahya, at a ceremony held this afternoon at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Following the presentation, Ambassador Sareer conveyed greetings and best wishes from President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and reaffirmed the Maldives’ commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with Kuwait. He expressed appreciation for the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two nations and pledged to enhance collaboration during his tenure.

Minister Al-Yahya congratulated Ambassador Sareer on his appointment and wished him success in his role as the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Maldives to Kuwait.

Ambassador Sareer also serves as the Maldivian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and was accompanied by Ahmed Fazeel, Counsellor at the Embassy of Maldives in Riyadh.
