March 2nd, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 165 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded include 132 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 33 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this,19 people are positive from operational resorts.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 20,144 cases, including 2,605 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 532,816 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 4,970 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 127 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 17,470.
