Air India CEO Campbell Wilson said Monday that the investigation into last month’s deadly Dreamliner crash in Ahmedabad is “far from over” and cautioned against drawing premature conclusions.

In an internal memo seen by Reuters, Wilson said the airline remains open to further inquiries following the preliminary crash report released on Saturday.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, en route to London, crashed shortly after takeoff, killing 260 people in what has become the world’s deadliest aviation accident in a decade. Investigators said the aircraft lost thrust after both engine fuel cutoff switches were triggered nearly simultaneously, starving the engines of fuel.

The memo noted that the preliminary findings revealed no mechanical or maintenance faults and confirmed that all necessary maintenance had been completed.
