March 3rd, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 136 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.

The total positive cases recorded include 124 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 12 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this,10 people are positive from operational resorts.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 20,280 cases, including 2,615 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.

So far, HPA has taken 536,931 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 4,262 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 125 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 17,595.

According to HPA, there are 187 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 63 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
