The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has confirmed that discussions regarding salary increases for civil service employees have concluded.
According to a public notice issued by the National Pay Commission (NPC), negotiations on the matter have been completed, and technical work is now underway. NPC member Mohamed Faizal stated that the proposed salary adjustments will be discussed further with relevant ministries and agencies.
This year's state budget has allocated MVR 500 million to implement salary increases across various sectors, including civil service employees, council workers, and judicial staff.
