President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu met with members of the B. Kamadhoo Island Council, the Women’s Development Committee, and local institution heads at Kamadhoo Preschool to discuss the island’s priority development issues.
The council highlighted pressing concerns such as coastal erosion, overcrowding at Kamadhoo School, the need for a football field, expanded council offices, health centre improvements, environmentally sensitive road upgrades, a new mosque, and expedited harbour construction.
President Muizzu assured the government’s commitment to address these challenges and provided updates on ongoing projects. Cabinet Ministers and leaders from state enterprises accompanied the president during the visit.
