The UAE and Jordan, in cooperation with Germany, Italy, Belgium, and France, carried out a humanitarian airdrop on Thursday to deliver relief to the 2 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the mission marked the 71st airdrop under *Operation Birds of Goodness*, part of the UAE’s Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, aimed at supporting Palestinians affected by ongoing Israeli attacks.
The latest airdrop included essential food supplies donated by UAE-based charities. Since the Israel-Hamas conflict escalated in late 2023, the UAE has provided 3,956 tonnes of aid, including food and other necessities.
WAM noted that the initiative reflects the UAE’s continued commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, strengthening resilience, and promoting humanitarian assistance in crisis zones.
