Hanimaadhoo MP Abdul Ghafoor Moosa has warned that the country is being looted and urged citizens not to remain passive.
Speaking at a Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) rally on Friday night, Ghafoor criticized the government for its actions in the Supreme Court and attempts to control journalists, calling on the public to intervene.
He also criticized President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu for making unfulfilled promises to his constituency and urged the president to avoid making commitments without proper consideration.
