A total of 185,930 people across the Maldives have received the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 105,836 people have received the Covid-19 vaccine from the greater Male’ region. Out of this, 6,015 people were vaccinated in the last 24 hours.
HPA has also stated that so far 81,094 people have received the Covid-19 vaccine from outside the greater Male’ region. Out of this, 5,459 people were vaccinated in the last 24 hours.
As per the recent statistics, 11,474 people across the Maldives have received the Covid-19 vaccine in the last 24 hours, breaking the daily records of the vaccination campaign.
The vaccine rollout program kicked off on February 01, with the Covishield vaccine donated by the Indian government.
