March 15th, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 94 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.

The total positive cases recorded include 80 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 14 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 07 people are positive from operational resorts.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 21,666 cases, including 2,350 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken 581,198 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 4,561 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 186 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 19,245.

According to HPA, there are 127 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 64 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
