The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has placed Dhaalu atoll kudahuvadhoo island under monitoring upon the detection of the Covid-19 case.
As per HPA, the island was placed under monitoring after 06 persons tested positive to Covid-19. The 6 samples were taken from people working at the airport as they were symptomatic.
HPA has also requested anyone who has traveled from Kudahuvadhoo after February 26, to inform the nearest hospital or health center, and self-quarantine for 14 days even if the Covid test is negative. HPA has requested anyone who has traveled from Kudahuvadhoo after February 26, to Male’ to get tested for Covid from Male’-hiya flu clinic, hulhumale’ flu clinic, or vilimale’ flu clinic.
Kudahuvadhoo island is currently placed under monitoring for contact tracing and case investigation.
