The local female who passed away this Thursday is the 65th death reported from Covid-19 complications in the Maldives.
As per the information received, the 79-year-old female was admitted to Dharumavantha Hospital for further treatment to Covid-19. With the additional death, the death toll has risen to 65 in the Maldives.
The Maldives reported the first death to Covid-19 on April 29 last year. As per the statistics, a total of 57 locals and 08 foreigners have passed away from Covid-19 complications.
