Bank of Maldives has expanded its banking services in Hulhumalé Phase 2 with the opening of two new ATM centres, offering greater access for residents and businesses.

One new MVR ATM has been installed in the Hiyaa Flat area, while a second centre at Eku Hiyaa includes both MVR and USD ATMs. The facilities were inaugurated by Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed, alongside BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, and senior Bank officials.

Shareef said the expansion reflects BML’s commitment to improving financial accessibility, noting Hulhumalé Phase 2 as a key growth hub.

BML already operates a branch and multiple Self-Service Banking Centres in Hulhumalé, along with a USD ATM at the Renaatus Ithaa Mui building. Nationwide, the Bank runs 42 branches, 267 ATMs, and digital banking platforms serving every inhabited island.
