The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has placed Kaafu atoll Huraa island under monitoring upon the detection of the Covid-19 case.
K.Huraa island was placed under monitoring as a 72-year-old had tested positive to Covid-19. As per the information received, he was tested to Covid after he was brought to Male’ for Medical examination.
With the monitoring status, HPA has restricted travel to and from the island. Huraa island is currently placed under monitoring for contact tracing and case investigation.
In addition to Huraa, F. Nilandhoo island, R. Ungoofaaru island and Dh. Kudahuvadhoo island is also under monitoring status.
