Bank of Maldives (BML) has alerted all it's customers to stay vigilant, following a number of phone calls from parties impersonating the Bank of Maldives.

As per BML, through these calls customers are often asked to provide their account or card information and are requested to transfer funds to another account due to system issues.

BML assured that the bank will never call customers and request for personal information and will never ask customers to transfer funds to another account in any circumstance. BML has also stated that the bank will never contact customers from a mobile number.

In this regard, BML has advised all it's customers to stay vigilant at all times and not to respond to these calls. BML has also advised to never share your personal or account details with anyone.

If a customer has received a call from someone claiming to be BML or if card details may have been compromised, please contact BML at 3330200.
