President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Tuesday sent a message to His Excellency Arif Alvi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, following the news that he tested positive for Covid-19.
In his message, he shared his concerns following the news of President Alvi testing positive for Covid-19.
The President sent his prayers to the President Alvi on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, for a full and speedy recovery. Further, he reiterated the friendly and long-standing relations between the Maldives and Pakistan.
Pakistan’s President Arif Alvi announced on Monday that he had tested positive for Covid-19 after receiving his first dose of Covid vaccine, just over a week after a similar announcement from the prime minister.
