MTCC has signed with the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, to implement the S. Hithadhoo old harbor upgrading project.
During a special ceremony held today, the contract was signed by CEO Adam Azim signed on behalf of MTCC and on behalf of the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Permanent Secretary Ms. Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed signed the contract.
The value of the signed project is MVR 52.43 million, and the project is to be completed within 365 days.
The S. Hithadhoo old harbor upgrading project includes dredging and excavation operations of 234,297 cbm, a 800m breakwater, a 284m quay wall, installation of 1,420sqm harbor pavement, harbor lights, and navigational aids.
