MTCC has today commenced the physical works of S. Hulhumeedhoo MIFCO Harbor Development Project (Phase 1) today at a ceremony held at S. Hulhumeedhoo.
The ceremony was attended by the Parliament Member for Hulhumeedhoo constituency, Mr. Ilyas Labeeb, Meedhoo constituency, Ms. Rozeina Adam, Managing Director of MIFCO Ismail Fauzy, and CEO of MTCC Adam Azim. Parliament Members for Hithadhoo constituency, Hulhudhoo constituency, the State Minister for the Ministry of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Mr. Shifaz Ali, Addu City Mayor, Abdulla Sodiq, and CEO of MPL also attended the ceremony.
Scope of work under the project includes; dredging and excavation operations of 471,380cbm, reclamation operations of 1,788cbm, and construction of a 97m quay wall.
