Maldivian Parliament speaker Mohamed Nasheed arrives back in Maldives after an unofficial trip to the United Kingdom.
As per the parliament administration, Nasheed is now in mandatory quarantine after returning from the UK. The mandatory quarantine is set by the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives as the mandatory safety precautions for returnees from abroad by the HPA.
During the unofficial visit to the UK, Mr Nasheed joined the high level meeting of the European Union to celebrate the democracy week.
The third session of the Parliament is set to recommence on 5th October.
