April 15, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 95 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded include 59 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 36 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 11 people are positive from operational resorts, and 22 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 25,939 cases, including 2,621 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 3,150 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 101 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 23,242.
According to HPA, there are 58 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 67 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
