The local female who passed away this Sunday morning, declared as the 70th death reported from Covid-19 complications in the Maldives.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has stated that an 72 year old female brought to ADK/ER in an unresponsive state was declared dead at 09:22 am on Sunday. HPA has confirmed that this was the 70th death related to Covid-19, after testing the deceased to Covid-19.
This would also be the third death related to Covid-19 reported within three days.
As per the recent statistics Covid-19 related death toll has risen up to 70, meanwhile, 26,348 confirmed Covid-19 positive cases has been recorded across the Maldives.
