He also congratulated the Minister of Defence, Chief of Defence Force, and all armed forces on the occasion of their 129th anniversary.
The National Security Force was established on 21 April 1892. On 21 April 2006, it was named the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), on its 114th anniversary.
