The statistics has shown a total of 45 people positive to Covid-19 from Laamu atoll Maandhoo cluster.
The first case from Maandhoo was reported on April 23. It was a case reported from Maandhoo Fisheries Complex. Following which, a total of 153 samples were taken in connection with the Maandhoo Covid-19 cluster.
Recently Laamu atoll Gan and Fonadhoo was also put under monitoring after detecting Covid-19 positive cases related to the Maandhoo cluster. All three islands; Maandhoo, Gan and Fonadhoo are currently under monitoring, with restrictions on travelling back and forth the islands.
So far, HPA has reported 27,621 Covid-19 positive cases across the Maldives.
