September 24th; (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; reports 54 positive cases within 24 hours. This includes 30 Maldivians and 24 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 50 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 04 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maldives have increased up to 9,939. This includes 1,301 active cases to COVID-19 in Maldives.
HPA also reported recovery of 67 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 8,597 people recovered.
There are active COVID-19 cases in 26 resorts and in 21 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. The active cases in resorts include 14 Tourists and 34 staff.
Maldives has recorded 34 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
