Speaking at the recent press conference by the Health Emergency Operations Centre (HEOC), Dr. Sheena said that the Maldives will go back to normal with a vaccine to prevent against Covid-19.
Dr Sheena highlighted that, although the numbers have been controlled, the country is not yet in the greenzone from the virus. Hence only considering changes in numbers for a longer period of time, can be proceeded to ease the current guidelines.
Speaking further at the press, Dr Sheena said that we cannot go back to normal although the numbers are being controlled and going back to normal can be considered only once a vaccine is available. She urged us to continue to follow the guidelines set to prevent further spreading of Covid-19.
