The total number of Covid-19 fatalities has risen to 121, with a fatality reported this Saturday.
As per the Health Protection Authority's (HPA) information, the deceased is a 48-year-old Maldivian male admitted at Hulhumale’ Medical Facility. He passed away at 12:02 pm today.
Maldives reported the first death to Covid-19 on April 29 last year. But this May has seen the highest number of fatalities in the country, with a total of 48 fatalities. As per the statistics, 106 locals and 15 foreigners have passed away from Covid-19 complications in the Maldives.
