The total number of Covid-19 fatalities has risen to 126, with 03 fatalities reported this Sunday.
As per the Health Protection Authority's (HPA) information, the deceased is an 80-year-old Maldivian male admitted at DH11. He passed away at 05:40 pm today.
Maldives reported the first death to Covid-19 on April 29 last year. But this May has seen the highest number of fatalities in the Maldives, with a total of 53 fatalities. As per the statistics, 111 locals and 15 foreigners have passed away from Covid-19 complications in the Maldives.
