September 25th; (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; reports 75 positive cases within 24 hours. This includes 53 Maldivians and 22 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 66 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 09 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maldives have increased up to 10,014. This includes 1,300 active cases to COVID-19 in Maldives.
HPA also reported recovery of 166 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 8,637 people recovered.
There are active COVID-19 cases in 26 resorts and in 22 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. The active cases in resorts include 15 Tourists and 30 staff.
Maldives has recorded 34 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
