The total number of Covid-19 fatalities has risen to 155, with 04 fatalities reported this Friday.
The 61-year-old Maldivian male admitted at Hulhumale’ Medical Facility passed away at 02:14 pm today. The Health Protection Authority (HPA) has confirmed this as the 155th Covid related death in the Maldives.
Earlier today, 02 patients admitted at Hulhumale’ Medical Facility, and one patient admitted at DH11 had passed away in Covid-19 complications.
The Maldives reported the first death to Covid-19 on April 29 last year. But this May has seen the highest number of fatalities in the Maldives, with a total of 82 fatalities. As per the statistics, 139 locals and 16 foreigners have passed away from Covid-19 complications in the Maldives.
