Pakistan and Maldives in discussion on various potential opportunities in developing direct shipping services to and from the both countries.
Discussions were held at the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) head office, where a five-member business delegation from Maldives including Major General Ahmed Shiyam and Parliament Member Ghassan Mamoon, joined in. The Pakistani High Commissioner to the Maldives, Vice Admiral Athar Mukhtar also joined in the meeting.
The Chairman of PNSC Shakeel Ahmed Magnejo and the executive directors welcomed the Maldivian delegates and discussed various potential opportunities in developing direct shipping services of general goods to and from Pakistan and Maldives.
The PNSC’s objective is to provide reliable and efficient shipping services to overseas.
It was just earlier this week the introduction of Cargo ferry service between Maldives and India as well.
