Former US President Donald Trump returned to the spotlight, slamming Joe Biden for being the most radical left-wing administration in the country while speaking at the North Carolina Republican convention.

In his speech, Trump described the United States as being destroyed before our very own eyes since he was voted out and launched bitter criticism of his victorious rival President Joe Biden. He accused the Biden administration of bowing down to China, claimed that illegal immigration is “skyrocketing, and urged Biden to always put America first.

“We don't put America second. As we gather tonight, our country is being destroyed before our own eyes. Crime is exploding, police departments are being ripped apart and defunded... Is that good politics, defund our police?” Trump said.

Speaking further, Trump described 2024, the year of the next presidential election, as a year that he looked very much forward to, eyeing a return to politics by planning a 2024 presidential bid.
