June 26, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 150 additional cases of Covid-19.

The total positive cases recorded include 30 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 120 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 17 people are positive from operational resorts, and 101 people are positive from inhabited islands.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 73,094 cases, including 4,067 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken 5,763 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 377 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 68,806.

According to HPA, there are 30 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 209 deaths from Covid-19 complications.

In addition to this, a total of 316,069 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 186,777 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
