June 28, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 155 additional cases of Covid-19.
The total positive cases recorded include 28 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 127 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 31 people are positive from operational resorts, 70 people are positive from inhabited islands, and 26 people are positive from islands under development.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 73,482 cases, including 3,883 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,972 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 347 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 69,378.
According to HPA, there are 27patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 209 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
In addition to this, a total of 316,497 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 188,788 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
