September 10th; (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; reports 66 positive cases within 24 hours. This includes 50 Maldivians and 16 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 63 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 3 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With the new update, as per (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; the total infected cases to Covid-19 has reached up to 8,900 in the Maldives. This includes 2,304 active cases to Covid-19 in Maldives right now.
HPA also reported recovery of 205 infected people adding up to 6,559 as total recovered cases in Maldives.
Currently there are active Covid-19 cases in 22 resorts and in 25 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. So far 17 Tourists and 41 staff have been tested positive to Covid-19 in the resorts.
Maldives has also recorded 31 deaths from Covid-19 up-to-date.
