July 01, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 133 additional cases of Covid-19.
The total positive cases recorded include 43 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 90 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 13 people are positive from operational resorts, and 72 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 73,931 cases, including 3,381 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 5,221 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 351 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 70,325.
According to HPA, there are 24 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 213 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
