July 06, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 105 additional cases of Covid-19.

The total positive cases recorded include 23 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 82 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 07 people are positive from operational resorts, and 74 people are positive from inhabited islands.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 74,585 cases, including 3,148 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken 4,200 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 183 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 71,212.

According to HPA, there are 25 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 213 deaths from Covid-19 complications.

In addition to this, a total of 317,549 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 199,784 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
