July 10, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 90 additional cases of Covid-19.

The total positive cases recorded include 23 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 67 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 06 people are positive from operational resorts, and 58 people are positive from inhabited islands.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 74,993 cases, including 2,650 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken 7,012 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 241 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 72,118.

According to HPA, there are 21 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 213 deaths from Covid-19 complications.

In addition to this, a total of 318,142 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 220,950 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
