July 13, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 170 additional cases of Covid-19.
The total positive cases recorded include 19 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 151 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 07 people are positive from operational resorts, and 78 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 75,332 cases, including 2,537 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 6,750 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 130 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 72,569.
According to HPA, there are 17 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 214 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
