July 22, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 122 additional cases of Covid-19.
The total positive cases recorded include 24 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 98 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 17 people are positive from operational resorts, and 81 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 76,454 cases, including 2,587 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 6,072 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 106 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 73,637.
According to HPA, there are 11 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 218 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
In addition to this, a total of 320,991 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 260,281 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
