July 25, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 123 additional cases of Covid-19.
The total positive cases recorded include 29 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 94 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 16 people are positive from operational resorts, and 45 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 76,750 cases, including 2,646 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 6,733 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 78 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 73,873.
According to HPA, there are 13 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 219 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
In addition to this, a total of 321,350 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 260,991 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
